How to book in for a biometrics
This video explains what a biometric is and how to book an appointment for one in order to receive your visa.
There are numerous locations around the world where you can book in for a biometrics. In order to find your closest biometrics center, please refer to this link. VFS is the organization that does the biometrics assessments in most countries. However, in some countries, you may do this at the Embassy.
At your appointment, you will have your fingerprints scanned and provided to immigration.
Attending your Appointment
You will need to take a copy of your passport to the appointment and a copy of the attached referral letter to the appointment.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
What happens after the appointment?
After you have had your appointment, the biometrics provider will automatically update The Department of Immigration with your biometrics. This is usually done in a few days.
