TRA Financial Evidence
How to Provide Financial Evidence for Trades Recognition Australia (TRA)?
If you are looking to migrate to Australia using a trade as the occupation, you will likely need to pass a skill assessment with Trades Recognition Australia. This video outlines what documentation is required to provide TRA.
TRA is a skills assessment service for people with trade skills gained overseas or in Australia for the purpose of migration.
TRA can provide pay evidence in the form of Employee (so if you are on a TFN) or as. Subcontractor (in which case you would have an ABN).
If you provide evidence working on a TFN, it is very simple, you can provide a copy of your payslips.
Payslips need to show:
- Name of Employer
- Name of Employee
- ABN or Employer
- Amount of hours worked
- Rate of pay
If you are on an ABN, you need to provide a lot more documentation. Subcontractors need to provide an invoice.
An invoice needs to show:
- Your ABN as a subcontractor
- Dates Worked
- Hours worked
- Rate of pay
- Business name & ABN of the other party of the subcontracting arrangements
- You will also need to provide a copy of the bank statement that shows the deposit/pay going into your account.
