Eligibility varies by pathway:

  • Specialist Skills Pathway: Applicants must earn at least AUD 135,000 annually and possess high-level skills in specific professions (excluding trades, machinery operators, drivers, and laborers).
  • Core Skills Pathway: Applicants must be in occupations listed on the Core Skills Occupation list and earn at least AUD 73,150 annually.
  • Essential Skills Pathway: Focuses on essential workers in specific sectors, initially aged care and disability support, with earnings under AUD 70,000 annually​.
