The new Skills in Demand Visa in Australia has been launched last December 7, 2024, replacing the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) 482 visa. This new visa program is designed to address labor shortages across various key industries by attracting skilled workers through three distinct pathways: the Specialist Skills Pathway, Core Skills Pathway, and Essential Skills Pathway. Immigration has also released list of occupations called Core Skills Occupations List (CSOL) which is under the Core Skills Pathway. There has been no announcement yet on the Specialist and Essential Skills List (Eg – Aged Care Workers)
